The April palette: Macaron

The April palette: Macaron

Liam Spradlin

The monthly palette is back with a somewhat belated palette to celebrate Spring and the vibrant but modest hues of revived grass, flowers, and wildlife. This month's palette is called Macaron.

The palette has colors like apple, pollen, mint, sky, and deep earth to allow for a broad range of colorful applications that reflect April's budding plants and of course the rain-soaked earth.

Like last month, I wanted a reserved, modest aesthetic so Macaron keeps things calm, but punches up each of the primary colors so you can make something vivid and eye-catching without being overstimulating.

Grab the download below. To streamline things, I've provided a file that should work with Illustrator and Photoshop. If you need a special palette format, let me know and I'll see if I can get one together for you!

Otherwise, enjoy Macaron! May's palette is already right around the corner.
