It's May, and - though I haven't caught a break to do much writing - that means it's time for a new palette. This month's palette is called Punch, and its goal is to capture the vibrant, bold simplicity of a day in the sun.

Punch is a minimal palette - it's got just seven primary colors each with three variants. Colors include lemonade, grape soda, ocean water, and cotton candy.

This month, friend and amazing Illustrator (who has helped out with previous palettes) Virginia Poltrack took an early look at the palette and contributed an awesome vectorized Jeep illustration:

And of course I've made a few examples of my own inspired by Punch. I'll provide downloads for these and others later.
